A quick look at this week on Instagram

A very quick look this week. I have to get ready to head into the city, it is my daughters graduation and I suppose as a parent I need to go to it. She is very excited. It is also a little sad as it means the end of her childhood, so to speak. Time for her to head out into the wide world. Find her place in it and all that.

I’ve had a trip away and a couple of the photos have been from that. I’ve also got the image that I had in Monochrome Madness last week, but this is the colour version. Ā I hope you don’t mind, but thought I would show the silos again as well.

  1. Like those bales of hay, all nicely stacked. Hope that wasn’t a real stormy sky, other wise all that hay would be ruined (mold and mildew).

Congratulations to your daughter on graduating. My three will be graduating in May. Rather than doing big graduation ceremony, likely it’ll be a horse show instead and pick-up the diploma later.

    1. No, I don’t think so, though I’ve seen some hay out for a while and when it rained, so not sure what they are doing up there. Thank you.
What are your daughters graduating from? and all together.

    2. They graduating from university. Deborah in Biology – Animal Science, Tara in Biology – Microbiology, Elizabeth in Chemistry. Deborah and Tara are 5th year seniors, because they transferred university systems. Elizabeth is finishing her degree on time.

    3. It will be nice to get them all over and done with at once, I have another one, that hopefully will graduate, but not for another couple of years. Congratulations to them all.

    1. They are indigenous people from around the area. I was told their names, but that’s all, Ron, Savannah, Curtly and Regina.

  2. Latrobe street is amazing. Congratulations on your daughter’s graduation. It makes sense it’s also a bit sad. Great achievement though.

    1. I was really happy with that shot as well, I think I want to do more images like that. The graduation went well, and she now has that “piece of paper”. Big event though, 7000 people graduating. Thanks Nicci.

    2. Graduations are grueling. So awesome though, she has the degree!

That shot looks like a painting. It will be interesting to see how you explore that direction. I’m looking forward to it.

    3. Yes, especially awesome and yes she has her degree.
Yeah, I do want to do more of ones like that, I have to find the right streets.
