The 12 Apostles would have to be one of the most photographed natural wonders in Australia. They are right up there with the Great Barrier Reef and Uluru. Over 2 million visitors a year, not bad for a country that only has 24 million people living in it. When you are there you will find loads of tourist buses arriving from Melbourne filled with overseas visitors who want to see the wonders of the Great Ocean Road and this spot is the main draw card.

When Pam and Mike first arrived in Melbourne I did spend some time with them showing them around the city. I took them to Docklands and we came back via the river. I do love showing people my city.

While at the Docklands we had lunch at Mama Rumaan, one of my new favourite restaurants down there, then afterwards when we walked out we noticed the wonderful reflections in the water. It was perfect for some long exposures.

The trip along the Great Ocean Road was fantastic and I got to see many parts that I haven’t seen before, then others that I haven’t seen since I was a child. The next theme, first Thursday in July is Wild, your interpretation.

Running late again. I have some friend from the states in Melbourne at the moment and I spent quite a bit of time with them yesterday. Still, I’m sure you are used to me running late these days.

The next theme, first Thursday in July, in 2 weeks, is Wild, your interpretation.

Just recently I’ve been playing with different editing software to see what it is like. With all the talk of what Adobe are doing with their subscription use of programs a lot of people are unsure of jumping aboard, while still others are worried about what happens if they keep putting the price up and up so that we can no longer afford it. The problem with the subscription idea is that once you stop paying you no longer have any access to it at all. It is like paying rent on a house, I guess.
