Catching up and looking back at Williamstown

Where has the week gone?

I don’t know either. I’ve been a bit stressed out writing an article for a magazine. It is something I am trying out, but I know it is a direction I want to continue moving towards. I finally got it in and fingers crossed it goes well.

Formatt Hitech Instagram

I’ve been given some power, well, not really, but I have been allowed to have access to their Instagram account, ย which is fun. I’m featuring peoples work and seeing if I can improve the number of followers. It is also nice that they trust me to do it.Take a look, here is the link.

Teaching and Mentoring

Don’t forget that I do teach and offer mentoring for those that would like some individual lessons on how to be an artist.

You will find all my services underneath the Learn from Leanne tab at the top of the page.

Writing for the blog

I’m trying to keep up with this blog and get back into everything, but I do find that time gets away from me, especially when I have other articles I need to write.

Also I find I don’t always know what to write about. Maybe you can help and give me some suggestions, that would be great. Some ideas and what you would like to read about or learn about. I can’t promise that I will always be able to do them, but I will do my best.

Guest Blogging

I’m still open to this idea if any of you would like to do a guest blog. I can’t pay for them, but hopefully I have a large enough audience that that could help. Let me know if you are interested.

Photos

The photos are from 2014 and from an excursion I did to Williamstown. I know some of you have questioned these photos and why to know why they look different. All the old photos that I should you in these posts were done for Weekend Wanderings and meant to show a place and not my style. I hope that helps.

I am looking forward to hearing you and seeing what you would like.

  1. You are always so busy .. Best of luck with that mag article. Great news on the access to the isn’t account ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

    1. Thank you Julie, the magazine article is so exciting, hopefully not my last. I’m having a lot of fun with IG account, nice to see it growing from what I’m doing. ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. Leanne, all of us who have been with you for some time understand that you have time constraints and anything you post is appreciated. If you have to just post a few pictures and say ‘busy, busy, more later’ we will understand. I mean, i remember your bike racing photos, even. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thank you Robert, I really appreciate that. Wow you have been following me for a long time if you remember the cycling photos, I haven’t done those for over 4 years.

  3. Congrats on taking over Formatt Hitech’s IG. Opportunities like these don’t come by so often and I hope you will have lots of fun during your time there ๐Ÿ™‚

Time always slips away and we all want more of it. I am like you too. A lot of the time I have no idea what I want to write for my blog. I’d have a topic of a theme in mind, yet I’d still feel stuck on ideas in my head. Also I’ve been going out and taking more photos, trying to experiment which takes up energy and being tired doesn’t motivate me to write, lol ๐Ÿ˜€

I don’t know what you can write about, it really is up to you. I think you were saying you were going to do a bit more reviews on here occasionally, and that is something I look forward too. Maybe you could do something about day time, night time photography, like what you need to look out, how to do it, what to bring etc. Or maybe a post on how you juggle different aspects of photography – e.g. going out taking photos, writing, repairing equipment, research, social media, publishing. I’m sure we all spend different amounts of time on each depending on where we want to take our photography and what we want to do with it.

    1. Thank you Mabel, it has been interesting to see what I can do with it.I am enjoying it, it is nice to have a company put faith in me like this.

Blogging can get hard and working out what people want. I do find hard too when there doesn’t seem much interest. If you know what I mean.

Yes, reviews, I do want to do some, seems that everything I get lately I’ve been reviewing for Digital Photography School. Not a bad idea, something to add to the list. I don’t know about the juggling bit, still having trouble with that one myself, lol.
Thank you for your suggestions, I appreciate it.

    1. That would be great, and I really like the series you have suggested, it would be good to hear from others why they blog. Thank you.
