Long Exposure Workshop – Victoria Harbour, Docklands

docklands-long-exposure-morning-melbourneSaturday 10th of June, 3.30pm to 5.30pm

Down at Victoria Harbour are lots of pier like structures and they are fantastic for doing long exposures. If we are lucky we will get a cloudy sky to make our long exposures perfect. Depending on the conditions, we may hang around for the sunset as well.

This workshop is perfect for people who want to learn how to use the filters they have, or try out long exposure before purchasing their own gear.  I have Formatt Hitech filters and holders for people to use as they learn how to do this type of photography.

Please take note of the conditions at the end and details on how to book.

Night Photography along Southbank

An evening of photographing Melbourne city from the other side of the river. You can explore taking photos that are longer than 30 seconds, but without filters. If it’s raining we will do reflections from the wet surfaces.

This is a great class for anyone who wants to improve their night photography, people who want to them but don’t like going out on their own.

Please take note of the conditions at the end and details on how to book.

Cityscapes from across the river

Wednesday 19th of July, 3pm to 5 pm

or Saturday 22nd of July 3pm to 5 pm

Some of my favourite long exposures are taken from the south side of the Yarra River looking over it towards the city. There are some many great places to get wonderful images.

This is the perfect opportunity to hang around with me and try out long exposure photography. You don’t need the filters, I have enough to let you try them and get some wonderful images.

I just wanted to thank you for such a great class on Saturday.
I learnt so much and so many tips.
I’m glad that you gave us the info sheets and the key ring card so that I can remember it all.
Your teaching method is fantastic, it made everything so easy.
I will certainly do some of your other classes, I had so much fun.  From Gary
