A quick catch up

Not a lot has been happening, not really. I’m still spending a lot of time trying to get the Facebook page going, which I am really enjoying. It seems to be paying off in other ways as well, with people engaging with the page and spending time on it. So many comments, it is incredible.

The Super Blue Blood Moon Full Eclipse

That was last night and I was up really late getting some photos. From the reports I was getting on Facebook much of the world seemed to be covered in clouds. I thought it was going to be the same here, but thankfully they disappeared and it was a very clear night, at least where I live. I set myself up outside my front door, which is a place I’ve photographed the full moon before.

I watched and photographed from the moment the eclipse started. I decided that I would watch it until it was the full eclipse and when the sun started hitting the other side I would call it quits. Which is what I did.

This is the blood moon.

It is the best image I’ve ever managed to get of it.

Videos

I’m trying to do some more videos and thought I might have a go at doing one on why I love long exposures, and I’m going to share it with you here.

It is something that I would like to do a lot more as well. They can be easy to do and a great way to show tips. I should probably write more in them though.

That’s It

Yeah, as I said at the start, I haven’t been doing a lot, or rather not a lot that I can write about. I hope you are having a good week.

    1. It seemed to be a common problem in many places, for once it was clear here. The last time I tried to do it I had lots of clouds. Thank you Ange.

  1. You’ve captured the moon’s features extremely well. I did see it here in England, that was a rare cloudless sky, but I was heading out somewhere. I could have tried to photograph it for my blog banner! Oh well…
