There isn’t a lot out there anymore, though the chrysanthemums are still looking beautiful but nearly everything else is dying off or getting ready for winter, whenever that arrives.
I went out the other day to take some photos and see what was left. This was about it, there is almost nothing besides the Chrysanthemums, so I don’t know what I’m going to do over the next few months. The long range forecast is saying we are going to have a warm winter, so maybe we will have an early spring. Though not sure how I feel about that. I really hate summer.
I might try experimenting with some things over the colder months, and maybe I will see if I can find some plants that will flower in the colder months. If you know any, let me know.
Here is my selection for this week.
These are beautiful, Leanne! Up here in the northern hemisphere, we are heading through spring toward summer, at least it feels that way today here in Utah. I love the green of spring and summer, but as I have gotten a bit older, I don’t love the heat anymore.
I like traveling and exploring more in cooler weather, especially in the off seasons when there are less people out in our parks.
Have a great weekend!
Thank you Tim. I watch a YouTube channel from Utah. I don’t like the heat either, part of the reason why I always look forward to winter, but this year it just isn’t happening. I just want it to cold. lol
I love winter because you can take photos at any time of the day.
You have a great one too Tim.
This is a wonderful selection for this week, Leanne. Hopefully, summer is better there this time.
Thank you Hazel. I just want summer to be over at this stage, I love winter.
You’re most welcome, leanne. All the best.
YOu too Hazel.
Thank you, leanne
😀 😀
Oh I love how you did that photo. You’re so talented. Beautiful flower.
thank you Peabea.
What’s left is just beautiful!
Thank you Anne.
Stunning shots!
Thank you Sharon.
Beautiful colours here, Leanne.
Thank you Margaret.
Love the details in your floral photos as well as the way you capture light.
Thank you for that Bruce.
It’s always sad to see those last blooms fade. But enjoy all our flowers in the Northern hemisphere as we move into late spring and summer.
It is, I’m very sad about this year, though the garden has gone on far longer, we have usually had a frost by now. I will certainly be looking for your flowers too. I have a lot that I never did anything with, so I think I will have something to keep me busy. Thank you Sandy.
Love your header image, Leanne!
Thank you Sue, lucky shot in the wind.
