Floral Friday – Flashbacks to 2016 and other macro photos

I’m being lazy today. Well, it is hard not to be when it is hot. We are having a real summer this year. Seems we just get over some really hot days and then there are more. I am glad that here while we have the hot hot days, we usually get a few days in between of cooler ones. So far it is looking like the next 6 or so days are going to be cooler. I can’t tell you how much I am looking for that that. My garden will be relieved too.

I had planned on going out this morning to take some photos, but when I woke up it was too windy. It stayed windy all day and then got hot, you get the picture. I need to plan ahead more.  So today I have some photos that were taken back in 2016 and before. Many of you have seen them before and I hope you don’t mind seeing them again.

Oh yeah, Happy Valentines day, here are some flowers for you.

    1. Thank you Sandy, I hope you are keeping warm and will start seeing some new things sprouting up through the snow soon.

  1. Just beautiful Leanne! We had a hot summer last year with lots of triple digits F. Since this winter is cold and rainy, I’m hoping for a milder summer.

    1. Thank you Anne, converting our temps we have had lots of triple digits too. I hope the same happens here and we have a cold winter. I would really like that. I hope you get your wish.

  2. Lovely photographs. It’s cold and wet here and will freeze tonight so your flowers preview spring to come. Thanks for that!

  3. Beautiful photos! I’ll take your hot weather over our cool days, Leanne. It’s actually raining here today thanks to the atmospheric river that is pouring on California.
