This week I have photos taken over the last week, but they are the same flowers. I decided to try setting up something inside for photos. I choose to pick some roses from my garden to use for it as the rose bush was full of flowers.
I took the photos last week and then I left the roses for a week and took some more photos.
One thing I love about roses is that they sort of dry out as they get older and look fantastic. I love them for that.
I will leave the words there I think. I did want to give my condolences for the election, but not going to say any more than that.
In this gallery are the flowers fresh from the garden.
The following ones are after a week.
Beautiful.
Thank you Joseph.
I’m a roses girl …they sure are beautiful
I never thought I would have roses in my garden, but I decided these two would be okay, I like the way they grow internally. Thank you Julie.
Love the photos! It is wonderful seeing the beauty in the roses as they change.
Thank you, I agree, and roses are so good to do this with.
So beautiful!!
Thank you Nora.
I can see what you mean about old roses. These are also beautiful old fashioned roses. I must admit I like the first photograph best, such a lovely colour and you can just feel the texture. I am sure many people feel like you about the election result.
Thank you RJ, that’s okay, you can like which ever one you want, I don’t mind, I just thought it would be fun to do them a week apart. I think so too. It is a strange time we are living in.
You are so right about drying out roses. Lovely photos.
Thank you Sofia, glad you agree.
Roses are so pretty as they dry out, and these are beautiful photos, Leanne. The edges of the flower look like they were dipped in gold.
I agree Lois, I love how they dry out. I like the idea of the edges, thank you Lois.
Roses are lovely at every stage, aren’t they? Even when they’re dead! These elderly ones are gorgeous.
They are Margaret, I like the different stages. Thank you Margaret.
I love the roses!
I’m not always a fan, but I like these ones that sort of grown in and now out, if that makes sense. Thank you Beth.
Very clever and nice shots.
Thank you Ted.
