First off, I love that they are repeating the challenges for this. I only started doing them just over a year ago so I missed out on a lot, so I’m pleased to see they are going to be doing this.
Our host Ann-Christine from the blog LEYA is repeating the challenge CREATIVITY. This is a great challenge and one that I love and am so so happy they are doing it again.
My first thought for this was pictures of graffiti, then I thought hang on I have my own images that I could use. I hope they work for this.
None of my images are the real world or how they were photographed. Some are very different, others not so much.
One of the first images I did was faking a reflection of Flinders Street Station as if the street in front of it was flooded.
I did follow a tutorial to work out how to do this.
Then as I started doing more things like replacing skies and other things I thought can I do something really weird like put sheep on the Webb Bridge in the city.
I have never thought this was a successful image, but it showed me what I could do if I put my mind to it, or rather, my imagination.
For this challenge I did a special image and one that I’ve been wanting to do for a while. You see, when I was in New Zealand, I really wanted to get the Milky Way over the top of the famous church at Lake Tekapo. It wasn’t meant to be, and I only got to take photos in the afternoon.
I always thought I should try adding the Milky Way to one of my images, so when I saw what this challenge was, I went, let’s do it.
It is two images, and I made the church look more like it was photographed at night. The Milky Way shot was taken many years before on a trip up to my mum’s place. I showed it to a friend who is from New Zealand and she thought it looked real. I’m pretty happy with it as well.
So I have put together more images, including the above ones, in a gallery that I have manipulated in some way. I could have used AI images, but decided to only include one, and you can see which one it is. I have added a description to each image so you can see what I have done.
These are all things I love to do and want to continue. Creating a new reality is something I keep saying I’m going to do, and then I forget. Maybe it is time I got on with that.
I hope you like these. I know you have probably seen many of them before.
Great challenge the first time around, and no doubt even better the second time. Thank you so much Ann-Christine for this one, I love it. I’m looking forward to seeing what everyone else does.

Very creative, Leanne! I especially liked the first one, with the fake flood. Wow!
Thank you Siobhan, my first real attempt at that sort of thing, glad you like it.
Your creativity is for show in every post, Leanne. No one edits photos like you do!
Thank you Sofia.
You are ALWAYS creative! Flinders Street and the Milky Way are among my many faves here.
That is really nice of you to say John, thank you and I like those too. They are my first and the last one I did.
Leanne, you are so creative with your photography mostly out of the camera. I love the photo of the New Zealand church under the Milky Way, especially because I’m learning more about how to create daytime images as they might look at night. Beautiful gallery!
I have to admit that most of my photos don’t look like what they did when they came from the camera. I am so glad to hear you like that one John. Thank you so much and good luck.
I love the notion of ‘creating a new reality’, you remind me that I enjoy this too and should experiment more often! Your gallery is full of clever shots – I especially like the sheep on the bridge, the Milky Way church and the staircase to the clouds 🙂
YOu should try it SArah, see what you can do. Doing my own worlds is something I’ve always loved doing. Thank you Sarah.
Every one a stunner!
Thank you.
I love what you did with the milky way!
Thank you Nora.
Superb images (as always), but with your skills as a photo editor, you’ve taken Creativity to the next level.
I love the sheep on the bridge. Highly successful as a play between architecture and nature. Love the eggs in a nest in front of a forest too.
Thank you Vicki. I love editing, I’m always looking to push it as far as I can.
I remember so many of these photos. I love Flinders St and the night sky and church
I’m sure you do Brian, That’s great to hear, thank you.
Great examples and beautiful photos showing us your creativity, Leanne.
Thank you Egidio.
The leading lady of photographic creativity! Wow, how I love these! I liked the sheep on the bridge – fun. All your creative efforts are spectacular and beautiful, and the Milky way church is a favourite too.
Thank you Ann-Christine, this is the type of stuff that I really love doing.
I got your other comment, I was away all day yesterday, so I will delete it now.
This is your creativity at its best Leanne. Love it!
Thank you Anne.
Brilliantly creative examples, Leanne- you really have a flair for image adjustment and/or manipulation!
Thank you Sue, I think it is because I love doing this sort of thing.
Leeanne, Incredible creative photos!
Thank you Beth.
Leanne, you are not only a skilled and talented photo-artist, but a highly creative one, too! Great post! I can’t pick just one favorite, but I do especially like the Milky Way image, the sheep on the bridge, and your first one, the faked reflection. All do exhibit a lot of skill.
Thank you Joanne. I think you like the ones that most people seem to like as well. I love milky way one, new one for me.
Wow, what an incredible collection here. Stunning.
Thank you Ted.
Leanne-faking a reflection and sheep on the bridge are fantastic! I like the other photos, but those two…!! Awesome.
Thank you Lois, I’m glad you like them, they were among my firsts.
