I guess if you feed them, they’ll keep coming for more.π
They will, but sadly it isn’t good for them.
Wonder what ill feel seeing them sitting on my front porch
If they are the sort of bird that does that you would love it, just don’t feed them.
A couple of mean looking Bird’s there! Some……are 5he spitting image of some people I know!!!!!!!
Hahaha, true Geoff, oh stop it, too funny, thank you Geoff.
Fabulous portraits!
Thank you Margaret.
Lovely images, Leanne.
Since I was a member of FOTZ for several years from 2011 onwards and spent a couple of hours in the Aviary practising my bird photography skill over 100 trips, I suspect we might have even crossed paths once or twice.
I think zoos are a great place to practice bird and animal photography. If one can’t travel to the country, mountains or overseas, why not the zoo. I live about 4 kms from the zoo currently, but no direct route over the Maribyrnong River, so I haven’t continued.
That aviary is a great place to practice your bird photography. I should go again. I’ve been a member for many years and haven’t been for a while. We might have Vicki, I used to go a lot.
I agree they are fantastic for that. I like going to them, I often visit the Melbourne main one and Healesville. Like I said I haven’t been for while. Thank you so much Vicki.
These are wonderful – love the ostrich’s face!!
Thank you Nora, though an emu not an ostrich.
You’re right!!

Thanks, Leanne. I looked at your tags AFTER I commented and saw you had emu tagged. Still a great photo!
