Monochrome Madness – Driving around some water in Tasmania

After showing the photo last weekend of one of my favourite images I decided to go back and take a look through the folder of that day in Tasmania. There were so many photos there that I always meant to do something with and never did. Guess what? Today I did something with a few of them.

This series starts with the same tree from Honeymoon Bay but from a different angle. I look at this now and wonder why I havn’t used it before.

The next two are taken down at the waterside in Coles Bay. It looked so lovely and serene, unfortunately it wasn’t like that. Someone was flying a drone around and it was noisy and so annoying. I hate drones. I hate the noise they make, they always make me think of mosquitos. Not a noise I like. I think that is part of the reason why I never really wanted one. I considered it for a while, but then decided not to get one and part of that reason is the sound they make.

The last two were taken from a bridge in Orford as we were on our way to Hobart. Just before we crossed the Prosser River we stopped and I got out to take some photos. Those were taken either side of that bridge.

It is nice to be going through old folders in my archives and seeing what I can process now. It also brings back some great memories.

Next week is another theme and we have a new host, though one of the original contributors to Monochrome Madness. Stupidity Hole started way back when with this challenge and it is great to finally have him as a host. He wants us to do HANDS.

I thought we had done this one already, but we haven’t. I am going to have to go hunting for images.

Participating in Monochrome Madness

If you would like to participate in this challenge please post photos on your blog and use the tag Monochrome-Madness, then I can use the reader to see what you post.

You can also leave a pingback, do they still call them that? Basically, you put a link to my monochrome madness post in your post and it leaves a link in the comment section.

Don’t forget to check out the Monochrome Madness page. On this page, the next theme is announced and there is also all the information for participating. We have also included a list of themes that will be coming in the future so if you want to be able to plan ahead you can. They aren’t in order, but will happen. Please go and check it out. Click on the Monochrome Madness heading in the menu.

Also if you would like to host one week or more, let me know.

    1. I am too, I think it is a reminder to go back and take a look at old photos. Stopping at Honeymoon bay was so worth it. Thank you Sarah.

    1. I didn’t work on it before because I had done a lot of work on another image of the same tree, but I do find it weird that others haven’t found it, especially since the tree from just up further north is gone. Thank you Jo.
