Monochrome Madness – Looking back

Monochrome Madness - Looking back

Getting access to my computer is so hard so I made the decision that looking back for Monochrome Madness might be the best idea at the moment.

Still in self-isolation and that means not a lot of access to my computer as my husband continues to work from home. I’m not upset about it, and would much prefer he be working here at the moment. Safer for everyone.

But what does this all mean?

Well, it means I am not going out and taking photos. I just don’t think it is worth the risk. Just because no one is around doesn’t mean others haven’t left other things behind. So I am going to continue working on my photography at home.

However, since most of what I’m doing is either still life or food photography I struggled yesterday with what to do for Monochrome Madness. I decided during the middle of the night that I could just go back to older images and repost them.

That is what I have for you today. It is an image I took in Tasmania just over 3 years ago. It is an infrared image. I hope you enjoy seeing it again.

Joining in

It would be great if you would like to participate, especially if you enjoy the monochrome images. If you want to contribute there is a Facebook groupTPM Photos which you can join and share your images. Of course, if you are blogging no reason why you can’t post your own. I like this challenge and it is nice to be thinking in monochrome again.

  1. Lovely picture. I took up running a year ago hence my seldom photography postings. The social distancing and one outing of exercise such as running and cycling is fine until everybody decides its okay to go out and fail to observe the 2m rule. Never seen so many people out. Its frustrating. This week would have been ideal to get out with camera but I will do so at home. Keep up the good work. I am a key worker for industrial waste. We split our team to one week on and one week off. So it will be good to catch up on the bloggers 😁 stay safe.

    1. Yes, I agree, it will be interesting to see how it pans out. People will start exercising on mass just to get out. I have been going to the supermarket, but that is it for me. Have you see the new challenge we have started for people who are at home?
Thank you Ange, my husband works in a critical area as well, though he is working from home. Be careful and please stay healthy.

  2. Great to see my Blog ‘friends’ at work. Sadly some people are using the idea of exercising to crowd down Southsea along the promenade.

    1. Oh yes, it is amazing how many people think this pandemic is nothing to worry about. I would rather err on the side of caution.
Thank you Diana, stay safe, stay healthy.
