Monochrome Madness – Milford Sound

Monochrome Madness - Milford Sound

Back to Milford Sound in New Zealand for Monochrome Madness this week. Sometimes I find that I don’t want to use images that aren’t long exposures, but then again, maybe I should.

Yes, I know I’m late again and I am sorry. I spent the whole day with a friend of my daughters baking. It was so nice to spend time with her and just do what I love doing.

When I was looking for a photo for this I went back to my New Zealand images and found this one from Milford Sound. I always loved this set, but never really did anything with them, so here is one. Such a magical place.

Joining in

It would be great if you would like to participate, especially if you enjoy the monochrome images. If you want to contribute there is a Facebook groupTPM Photos which you can join and share your images. Of course, if you are blogging no reason why you can’t post your own. I like this challenge and it is nice to be thinking in monochrome again.

  1. We visited Doubtfull Sound, New Zealand. It moved me to tears. Hard to put into words or images just how spectacular South Island New Zealand is.

    1. We went to Doubtful Sound the day after we were in Milford Sound, a completely different day weather wise, it rained and was so moody, we loved it. It is a beautiful part of the world.

    2. It was dark and moody on the first part of the journey, on the sound itself it was a beautiful day, Tom said that the weather that day was ‘the stuff of myth and legend!

    3. ours was the opposite, first sun, then lots and lots and lots of rain, though we didn’t mind as we got to see a lot of waterfalls.
