We stopped at a random place on my recent trip and took photos of waves crashing over rocks so I thought it would make a great image for Monochrome Wednesday.
Monochrome Wednesday – Waves over rocks
When we were travelling around the different photo opportunities on the Great Ocean Road my friend wanted to check out some shops in a small town. After seeing them, or lack of them, she wanted to see the beach. It was actually really good. There were heaps of rocks that the waves were crashing over.
I didn’t have the right lens and it was hard to zoom in, so I have cropped the images a lot. This isn’t always a problem as it is highly unlikely that images like this will ever be used for anything other than digital. We need to be serious about this. I love taking photos and sometimes they are just that, photos. They may never see the light of day again.
That may sound harsh, but I take so many photos that they can’t all be masterpieces or be anything other than me experimenting. I do love to do that.
These were so cute. I know they are rocks, but still, don’t you think they look like little dogs with long hair. Maybe it is just the back one, and the front one is like a Chinese dragon. What do you think?

Great shot Leanne! It does look a little like one of those little dogs with the super long hair. 😂 Actually, I really love the mood created by the slower shutter speed. It makes for a softer, more mysterious feel. Thanks for such a beautiful photo.
