One Four Challenge – Sticks and stones at Arthur Creek Week 4

This is meant to be the last week for the ONE FOUR Challenge, but there is one more week in April, so Joanne and I have been trying to work out what to do. I think the plan is to just do it for another week. I might try and do something wild with it.

Now, before we get started, for those of you who are interested in what the One Four Challenge is, you can find out by going to this link for more information.

I have used ON1 Photo RAW 2025 again, as I said I was going to use it for each week this month. In theory, this is the last month that I’m supposed to use it, but if I’m honest, I know I’m going to use it a lot more. I really want to push it to see what I can do with it.

I feel like a broken record, but hey, here is the original image.

I’m sure you could have guessed that I would do a monochrome version of this. I did sort of leave it to the last week, but then I almost didn’t do one at all.

I did use a preset to create the monochrome, but I also used some matching colour effects to give it the tone it has. I also used the antiquing one as well. I need to start writing down what I do.

I like to think it looks more antique, and there were some things I wanted to do to it, but I still can’t work out how to use more than one preset. Some are great for some things, and then others are great for other parts. I will just have to keep playing around with it. I’m sure there must be a way to be able to do it.

Here is a before and after of the image.

As always a gallery of each of the four weeks with the original as well. Did you have a favourite? I think mine was week 2.
