Some videos to give you ideas

It is summer here and winter in the Northern Hemisphere and so today I thought it would be good to show some videos to give you ideas on what you can shoot at this time of the year.

When I was trying to find some videos for you today, I was going to go in a completely different direction. However, I’m going to be doing a lot of macro over the next couple of months and I thought it might be good to show you some different techniques and subjects.

Macro Photography

The videos are all different, but I think you will find that whether you can get outdoors or are stuck indoors, there will be something for you to try.

I’m not going to go on too much today. The house is still being cleaned up and there is still a lot to clean out. I will catch up with you all in more detail soon. Stay cool if you are in the Southern Hemisphere and warm if you aren’t.

  1. My other passion is photography. I just bought a macro lens to start my journey in that area. Thanks for the post. Look forward to posting some great shots such as the one you posted. Thanks for continued support for Poemattic.

    1. That is so good to hear, I love macro and was happy when I got my own. There are quite a few thngs in these videos that I want to try as well.

  2. Thank you Leanne for sharing these awesome ideas. Though I am yet to explore MACRO photography (only reason being not having the lens), I will sure keep these ideas in mind.

    1. There are quite a few things you can do here without a macro lens, which is good. You would be surprised at what you can do with a 50mm lens.

  3. Just wondering if you’re anywhere near the location of the wildfires we are hearing about in the USA.

    1. I’m not Leigh, they are a couple of hundred kilometres away. Hopefully, it will stay that way. February is usually our hottest month and when most bushfires happen, so fingers crossed they don’t come to close to Melbourne.
