Taking a break

Taking a break

It is that time of the year and while I normally blog for longer, I am going to be taking a break. Christmas is here and I need to get a lot done before the day.

Plus my husband has a couple of weeks off so I will be spending time with him and my family. I do intend to do some blog posts on Caught Midway, but they were prepared a while back.

I love Christmas and this year I’m enjoying a lot more than I have for quite a few years. Perhaps I am in a much better place emotionally and I am really happy with where my photography is going. Relaxed is definitely a word I am relating to a lot more these days. Becoming a housewife who likes photography has been a great decision.

Who knows what next year will bring, but I will be doing a lot of experimenting with new work, so I hope you will join me on that ride.

It is time for taking a break

But for now I am taking a break and will be back around the new year. My mother is spending time with us and my work around the house will continue. Well not if we get more days like this last week. I still can’t believe this last week say the hottest day in recorded history for Australia be broken, only to have it broken again the following day. So two of the hottest days on record here in the last week. I hate seeing all these records being broken constantly.

I would like to take this time to thank you for all your support over the last year.

For those of you who celebrate Christmas, Merry Christmas. For those that don’t, I hope you have some time off to spend with family anyway.

Happy New Year too. Let’s hope that 2020 is a remarkable year for all of us.

    1. Thank you, Leanne. I hope that you are doing well given the fire situation in Australia. I don’t know if they are close by, but it’s scary what we are seeing on the television, ok it is totally frightening, especially hearing about all of the poor animals. I am heartbroken over it.

Our holidays were nice, and quite restful – much needed. Thanks for asking, and I am wishing you all the best.

    2. Thank you Tim, I am fine, we are getting lots of smoke here, but the fires, at this stage, are a long way away. It is very scary for the affected areas, and the rest of us are just hoping they never come near us. It is saddest for our native animals, they aren’t responsible for any of this.
I’m glad your holidays were good, thanks again, take care Tim.

    3. Glad to hear you are okay. Yes, the news is quite scary, and so sad I try not to really think about it. 😥 Well, wishing you all the best.

    4. Yeah it is, though we seem to be in a bit of better time now. Though Feb is the worse time for us, but hopefully it doesn’t get as bad again.

    5. Glad to hear things are getting better. Here in the US we have been seeing the summer fire season get progressively worse over the last few years. Global warming is upon us.

    6. Sounds the same as here, we get more storms and the fires worse. Absolutely, that, it is time everyone stopped denying it and started acting on it.
