Something a bit different for Floral Friday as I am looking for flowers that would make good jigsaws. This is something I need your help with.
Floral Friday – Jigsaws of flowers
Jigsaw Gallery is a company that is selling jigsaws that have Australian scenes. It is also there to help support Australian artists and supporters. It is a great idea not only because they have images by me, but also what the owner Craig is attempting to do.
He has some of my images, but I’m planning on adding a lot more to the gallery there as well. One thing I want to add is macro images. Putting up some of my flowers and maybe some other things as well. I’m slowly going through the images that I have to see what might work for puzzles.
Buying puzzles
One of the things that are great about buying jigsaw puzzles is that you get to own an image by a photographer at a fraction of the price. You also get to put it together. They are also great presents for people.
A Favour
Here is the favour, I was wondering if you could let me know which of these images you might think would make a great jigsaw puzzle. They are numbered 1 to 25 so you can just let me know the number. I would really appreciate your help.
I think #21 because there is color variation
I thought the same for that one Nora, thank you.
4 for me Leanne š
Thanks for letting me know bushboy. š
Beautiful macro work. I vote for 9.
Thank you Anne, 9 seems to be the most popular that is for sure.
I think a lot would depend on how many pieces they were cut into. I like jigsaws where something interesting is happening so I would go for no. 4. I normally do 1000 piece jigsaws. Not sure any of them would be really good for that many pieces.
I don’t know, I leave that up to the guy that runs the business. Thank you for letting me know RJ, good to hear.
Second time lucky….. don’t know where that first comment went to…. š³
Love them all Leanne… but I think for a jigsaw i prefer 5, 9 and 11 š
Hey Sandi, the comments don’t get posted straight away, I have to approve and respond to them. Thank you for letting me know really appreciate it.
I love ALL these photos, Leanne, and what a great idea you have given me! My husband and I enjoy assembling jigsaw puzzles and as a gift to him, I may try to have one of my photos converted to a jigsaw. If Iām unable to find a service willing to do that for me, then I would certainly buy yours- I especially think #2 #4,#9,#21, would be great fun to work on! Thank you for your beautiful photos!
Thank you, it is a nice idea to get images made into puzzles. I hope you can find somewhere. Thanks for letting me know which ones you think would work for them.
I love them all Leanne! But if I was to choose for a jigsaw I would go with 5, 9 and 11 š
Thank you Sandi, all great choices, the backgrounds are good on them as well.
I like 9 or 25. There is a lot of similarity in both puzzles–just enough to confound a puzzler, yet make them eager to complete the puzzle to see the finished product. Have you posted #25 before? It is gorgeous, Leanne.
Thank you Lois, that is good to know. I think 25 would be hard, but I know that some out there would love that. I don’t know if I have posted that one before. I did it a while ago and did post it on my Instagram page, the macro one.
Very nice one
Thank you.
I like 21,13,6 and 4. The praying mantis is my favorite. You do great work.
Thank you Shanon, good to hear which ones you like.
Spectacular colours, Leanne! š š
Thank you Jo.
# 6 is my favorite!
Thank you, another good one.
6, 9 or 12 would work well I think – not too easy! Love them all though!
No, I think it works best if there is plenty in the background, thank you Chris for letting me know.
1,11, 24
Thank you Chris.
I think all of them would make great jigsaw puzzles.
Ohh thank you Phillip.
