I have come to dislike doing posts like this, they are so sad, and I cry all the way through them, but this isn’t for me; this is for Marilyn from Serendipity – Seeking Intelligent Life on Earth
I’ve known Marilyn and her blog for a very long time, and to find out that she is no longer with us has brought me great sadness. We knew it was going to happen, but I wasn’t prepared for it to happen so soon, as I am sure many of you feel the same way.
I loved the way Marilyn looked at life and the way she went about it; it seemed so matter-of-fact. It is hard to know how someone is through a blog, but she did write about a lot of things, and I agreed with her about a lot of it. She didn’t seem shy to say what she really thought. I admired that.
I decided to use this photo from her blog because I like to think she still has the camera in her hand.
My thoughts are with Garry and Owen at this time.
The photos I enjoyed the most were the ones of her flowers. You all know that I love flower photography too, so I have taken a selection of her flower photos from her blog to show as we remember her.
For Marilyn, I will miss you.
