Here we go.
So after discussions we are starting our first Monochrome Madness theme. I am doing it this week and the next one will be in two weeks. It will be hosted by someone else, so you will need to go to their blog to find out about it.
You will be able to find out whose turn it is and where to find their blog by looking at the page called Monochrome Madness in the menu on this blog. You will be able to find the instructions on how to participate there as well. I will also include information on what to do if you want to try hosting one time.
Monochrome Madness #1 – The letter B
I decided for my first themed MM that I would pick the letter B. You can choose any subject as long as it starts with that letter.
As you can see I have shown bridges. I could have shown other subjects starting with that letter, but I love bridges, so I am sticking with them.
Participating in Monochrome Madness
If you would like to participate in this challenge please post photos on your blog and use the tag Monochrome-Madness, then I can use the reader to see what you post.
Very striking and moody
Thank you Alison.
I love photographing bridges too and you have some great ones here – I especially like the Seafarers Bridge 🙂 Good idea to have a letter theme too. My ‘B’ is Botswana: https://www.toonsarah-travels.blog/gallery-seeing-botswana-in-black-and-white/
Sorry Sarah, I’ve been away. Thank you so much, bridges are so good. I love that bridge too, my absolute favourite Melbourne Bridge. Glad you like the theme.
And now I’m away, so likely to be quite quiet, off and on!
Haha, we will get there.
Gorgeous captures, Leanne 🙂
Thank you Hammad. 😀
Fabulous shots of the various bridges!
Here is my letter B: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2024/02/07/what-do-you-keep-in-your-bucket/
By the way, just this morning I heard Patrick Stewart’s soliloquy to the letter B https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hA7lv1SDzno . Well worth watching and more so listening to it!
Thank you Elke, I will have to check out that link too.
The last one is different so it get’s my attention, but all the bridges are just beautiful
Yeah, it is like half a bridge, the rest was removed when they did the dam there. Thank you Ritva.
Cool angle on the Seafarers bridge, Leanne.
Thank you Sofia.
Interesting concept!
I love these bridges, the last one especially with just supporting walls, yet to be completed.
Not to be completed, the top of it, the railways part was removed when they built the dam. Not sure they they left those. Thank you.
Love the bridges Leanne 🙂
Thank you Brian.
I love the bridge photos, Leanne, and I remember the bottom photo of pilings for a bridge. All beautiful photos though! ❤️
Thank you John. Oh yes the pilings from the old railway bridge. They have been underwater for so many years now.
I knew they are familiar. 🤙🏻❤️
Yeah, I’m sure you have seen them all before John.
I love your work! ❤️❤️
😍😁😍
🥰
Gorgeous, as always Leanne.
Thank you so much Dawn.
