Monochrome Madness #38 – Starting with an H

Well, Sarah, you picked a hard letterfor this theme. The letter H is not easy to do, and I couldn’t get home and house out of my head. As you can see, our host is Sarah from Travel with Me, and she has chosen the Starting with an H.

At first I made a big list of everything I could think of that started with that letter and went from there.

I did the obvious houses and homes. I found a mansion like one and lots of derelict old homes. I even found one that had burned down in some bushfires a few years back.

Next, I went with flowers that started with the letter H. I was surprised at how many I had. I included a couple of photos from Heide, Museum of Modern Art that I visited recently. Finally, I went for Hiking looking at the trails and things I’ve seen on hikes.

I hope they all work. Here is a gallery with my images.

I did process all of these with the presets in B&W Modern in ON1 Photo RAW 2025, and I love the results.

I would like to thank Sarah for this challenging theme this week. I’m looking forward to seeing what everyone else thought of for it.

  1. you’ve a lovely haul of Hs Leanne – the Heide art museum I really liked in both shots, hiking was imaginative but Helenium hit the tender spot – softness like a dancer’s skirt

  2. You wouldn’t know that you found this challenging, seeing how many great images you found! I really like the various derelict houses and I’m glad you included all those lovely flowers too 🙂
