I know, I’m a day late with Monochrome Madness, but yesterday I was busy getting this image of the city with clouds over it.
Yesterday morning I met Chris in the city early to one, catch up, and two to take some photos. She also has a blog, SV-Anui. We have been friends for quite a few years now and met through our blogs. I don’t get to see her very often now as she is living on her boat full time with her partner Wade. So yesterday morning was a great chance to get out with her while they are in Melbourne.
It wasn’t a great morning for photos. First, the sunrise wasn’t great. Then there were no real clouds, then the sky was so overcast it was useless too.
Clouds over the city
I did manage to capture a few clouds as we were walking over the bridge to the city. They looked really good so I had to snap some pics.
I was using my Fujifilm X-T3 and I had the 18-135mm lens on the camera. I was ready for some street photography and managed to get this on the way.
Joining in
It would be great if you would like to participate, especially if you enjoy the monochrome images. If you want to contribute there is a Facebook group, TPM Photos which you can join and share your images. Of course, if you are blogging no reason why you can’t post your own. I like this challenge and it is nice to be thinking in monochrome again.

Thank you.
Wonderful! A really stunning shot
Thank you Dave.
Hiya Leanne. Great to catch up properly even if it was not a great day for photography! You did manage a good shot. The return to the boat was eventful in 35 knots wind! Gotta love this weather!
It was great, I had a great time. We will have to do it again before you leave. Oh no, it did get very windy. YOu do.
