Monochrome Madness – Different cityscapes

Today I have photos that I have shown you before. I think they are from 2017, but they are all monochrome images.

I love photographing the city, but I have tended to stay away from people. However, there are times when you can photograph them quite differently. I like this way and often try to get similar images.

The other two are of the city from across the river. I love photographing the city from Southbank. You can get back far enough to take photos of more than you could if you do it from the streets.

I also thought it might be nice to show something other than flowers which is all I seem to be doing these days.

I hope you enjoy these images.

Oh, on another note it seems I am back with the reader, yay. So happy for that.

  1. That first one sets a mood. Perhaps because it’s winter in New Jersey, the sky is a dreary grey and it’s -10°C outside and I’m already in a mood.

    1. Do you get snow there Khürt, I have to say we see scenes like that nearly all year round. -10, I can’t even fathom that, I don’t think I”ve ever experienced it. The coldest it has ever got here is -2.5 and that was a couple of years ago and broke a record. I did experience -3 when we were living in Denmark, that was cold enough. Well I hope my photo helps your mood. Thank you Khürt.

    2. Wow, I have seen it snow twice in Australia, saw a bit more in Denmark, but not a lot. The first time I saw snow was in Denmark. Strange stuff. Not at all what I expected.
