This week I thought I might look back at some of the photos I’ve taken out in the country in the state of Victoria.
I’ve spoken before how I often think monochrome or black and white are perfect for older places and buildings. Not sure what it does, but I like it.
I’m still on my break, but I do want to maybe post a little more. Not sure what, but will sort it out. I want to do the Lens Artist challenge, but only if I feel I have photos that fit it well.
Take care and remember if you want to participate instructions will be at the bottom.
Participating in Monochrome Madness
If you would like to participate in this challenge please post photos on your blog and use the tag Monochrome-Madness, as then I can use the reader to see what you post.

I will take a look.
I like these and agree about old buildings. The sepia church looks rather spooky, and I love the curves of the grain silos! I’m joining in this week: https://www.toonsarah-travels.blog/gallery-seeing-madagascar-in-black-and-white/
Glad to have you aboard Sarah. I’m a bit behind. It does really fit the scenes. Thank you.
I Love the moody skies on these ones, Leanne.
Moody is good, thank you Sofia.
I like your treatment of clouds in the photos, it really adds atmosphere.
Thank you Elke, I love clouds.
Beautiful 🤩 beautiful

I agree. B&W makes for some striking photographs. Yours are a perfect example of that!
Thank you Julie, I like B&W for this sort of thing.
I like the tones in your monochromes. Here’s a house from my side too 😀:
