This went up on most of my social media sites this morning. It is an old car that sits on a hill at the Pink Lakes in the Murray Sunset National Park up in the Mallee.
When the image went up on Instagram I also put a tip with it. If you want to see that you will have to take a look at my Instagram page.
I have decided that I will start posting photos like this here on days I don’t normally blog. For the Catching Up posts I will be posting photos that have been on my other blog. I have to start deleting files over there as at the end of the year I will lose my extra storage, domain name and a few other things. I need to get the media down below 3 GB, so I have been deleting many photos, mainly the ones that aren’t mine, like Monochrome Madness and the Introduction posts. It will be nice to see some of the older photos here. I might even repost some of the Weekend Wandering Posts. Β I hope you will enjoy seeing them again as well.
Just a beautiful image Leanne.
Thank you, hoping to photograph it again next week.
Love that. One of my favorite things to shoot.
They can be so interesting, thanks Mary.
This may be one of my all time favorites!
That fantastic, Marsha, thank you.
The sky lends so much drama to this photo, Leanne. I love it.
Thank you Lois, I loved the sky in this one.
Love what you did with this image.
Thank you Sherry.
You really captured the rusty detail of that battered antique, highlighted beautifully by that dark sky. BRAVA!
Thank you so much, I love that old car, I have photographed it many times now.
Excellent Leanne!
Thank you Adrian.
Superb, Leanne
Thank you Andy.
Beautiful work, Leanne π
You have turned a piece of scrap to a work of art π
Thank you so much for sharing π
You’re very welcome Sreejith, so good to hear you like it, thank you. π
Impressive and dramatic yet it takes it a little too far for my taste. Perhaps reminiscent of Peter Eastway in that respect.
thanks, I think Murray, I love seeing how far I can go, and yes, he has been a big inspiration to me.
Absolutely splendid!
Thank you.
