Before we get started, for those of you who are interested in what the One Four Challenge is, you can find out by going to this link for more information. Please take a look at Joanne’s post as well.
This week was a tough one. I often find the fourth week really difficult. I think it is because you have already done the ones you want to do. In the past I’ve done some wild things with AI to the image for the last week, but it didn’t seem like the right thing to do with this one. Would it be sacrilegious to do something like that to a beautiful spot in the world?
Let’s see what I tried to do.

Again, I did the normal processing that I do each week. Then I started looking at the presets.
I will admit this was the second version of this image. When I put up my first one I really didn’t like it so I started over and went through all the presets again. In the end I settled on the preset group Organic Wool, a strange name, and applied OW4 to the image.
I thought that was okay, but then I added an Effect and applied the Matched Colour one and used one of the images I have added to it. It was a pink flower. I like the soft pink hue that it gives the image. It is very subtle which I think can be a good thing.
Let’s look at the original.

As I said it is subtle, and doesn’t really make a massive difference, but I don’t mind it. It could even be my favourite version out of all of them.
What do you think? Do you have one you like more than the others?
Let’s take a look at all the images so far.
There is another Thursday this month, so I’m going to do something very different next week.
I think I like these best
That great to hear Ted, thank you.
This is a diverse series this month Leanne and I really like the touch of pink this week.
I love the sun flare version from last week, but I must say this week’s is my favourite. Lovely!
A lovely place too. I can imagine standing there, seeing it for myself.
I’m going to take a couple of months off from the challenge for August and September.. some busy times coming up.
I will miss joining you, but will pop in when I can to see your editions.
I’m going to try a 5th week for July too 😀
It has been Robyn. Good to hear you liked it.
It is an incredible place, I was in awe of Yosemite.
That’s okay about taking time off, though I have to admit Joanne and I are wondering if we will continue, it doesn’t appear to be a popular post, but we will see.
Take care and take time for you Robyn, thank you.
bottom right for me!
great Beth, thank you.
Wow! Those last two edits are magnificent.
Thank you Egidio.
I like week 4 the best. I like the soft tone. It’s more morning than the others. By the way, I saw Sandy yesterday and I’m enjoying my M&Ms!!
That’s good to hear Anne, it seems to be the most liked. Say hi to her for me.
The last one catches my breath. I enjoy finding detail in the shadows for some reason.
That’s good to hear Michael, thank you.
