One Image 4 Ways – Repeating Southern Cross Station Week 4

This weeks image is one of my favourites. It is kind of weird, but I like it. I’m not sure if I’m going to do next month, I might take a break and start up again in January, we will see.

It is the last week of this challenge for the train station photo. As always here is the original image.

I have my image ready for it.  I have to admit I was a bit lost with the image this week.  It is hard to come up with four different ways to do an image.  Anyway here is my image.

I don’t really know what I was going for here.  I think when I do my next image I am going to have to find a better image. I decided to try using some blur to create an effect.  I don’t know if it really works, but it was fun to see something a little different.

Now for the before and after.

Now here is the gallery with all the images for this month.

  1. I love this, makes me think of a movie where a guy is being chased by bad guys and he’s trying to go back in his mind and remember where the FIRST incident that led to his chase started. Brilliant!

    1. It’s interesting how our mind sees something, and our thoughts go somewhere else. LOL – our brains being AI, looking through our brain for an interpretation of what we see.

  2. I like the blur. Anyone can take a picture of trains – even me. But not everyone can process blur so that it looks interesting.

  3. The changes you show in the Before and After is really impressive! Not just that you did them, it was that you knew what you wanted to be able to do it.

Now if it was dumb luck… keep it to yourself LOL They are great.

  4. I like ths one a lot. it conveys an impression of speed. Unrealistic, I know, since the trains are immobile at the station. But it really works. I think this was a good image for your self-imposed challenge. You’ve come up with some interesting ideas.

    1. I do too Margaret. Yeah very unrealistic, but interesting effect I think. Thank you so much Margaret, it was interesting that’s for sure.
