1 image 4 ways – Architecture from Docklands Week 3

Here we are at week 3 of this image and I have to say I am actually enjoying working on this image. This time I almost ran out of time because I left it too late, but I managed to get done what I wanted.

Let’s look at the original again.

It’s such a great building. I love it.

This week’s image is very similar to last week, but I changed some of it. I am always trying to think of what else I can do it. In all seriousness I don’t know what I am going to do most of the time until I actually start working on it.

So here is what I ended up with today.

As I said very similar to last week. I removed the bin again, but I think AI did a much better job this week than it did last week. Weird how it is different each time.

The other major thing I did was remove the building that was on the left. I did use AI to do that but I had to go over it and do lots of other stuff as well. Not perfect, but I thought it turned out well. By doing this I hoped that the building would be more prominent. I think with the other building there it is like you are looking around the corner to it, but with it gone you are looking straight on.

I also removed most of the lights inside the building and any outside reflections. I only left ones where the reflections were of the other side of the building.

With the sky I added a new one to look like it was a long exposure. I love that look.

I worked on the path so the dark part in the foreground would be the same as the rest. I obviously also got rid of the post in the foreground too.

So while similar to last week, there are also noticeable differences as well. I can’t wait to see what I do next week.

I am only putting the gallery for this, I don’t like the before and after slider for this image.  I hope you like it.
