Christmases Past – Monochrome Madness a touch a colour

One of the things we used to do with Monochrome Madness each month we would also do a challenge. In 2014, I think it was we had a challenge that was about doing a monochrome image with a touch of colour.

Christmas is all about colour and then making those images black and white seemed such a shame. So we decided that would do them with a touch of colour in the images.

Below are some of the images that I did for it. It is an interesting effect. Not something I usually do, but it was nice to have fun with it.

Participating in Monochrome Madness

If you would like to participate in this challenge please post photos on your blog and use the tag Monochrome-Madness, as then I can use the reader to see what you post. Also, use the tag mid-week monochrome to catch Bren’s as well.

I’m afraid I don’t use Social Media much anymore, but maybe tag it #monochromemadness for Instagram and I will try and look. That would be brilliant.

    1. That’s great news. I didn’t do it this week, but will start again next Wednesday. I look forward to seeing your monochrome images. Though the touch of colour was just for that one week. Thank you.

    1. It is a bit of a shock, it has been so wild, and bam, here it is. No getting used to it slowly. I hope you aren’t going to be part of the massive storms coming. Keep warm.

  2. Lovely photos! I also no longer use social media, something I credit my son with suggesting. Glad to be rid of the wasted hours forever scrolling through mindless Facebook and Instagram posts. Now, I’ve returned to my blog, the only social media vice I currently engage in!

    1. I am much the same, I have more time for myself, my home and my garden. I like blogging so much more, I don’t there is something about it that really appeals to me and I’m happy to hear I’m not the only one Julie. Thank you.
