Floral Friday – Flower photos from my phone

I don’t know if you remembered that a while back I showed you some photos taken with my husbands new phone. He got the Pixel 8 and when I saw how good the photos were, well I had to keep reminding him how bad the camera was on my phone. I did this because he did the research on that one claiming it was meant to have a good camera in it. I wanted the phone for my trip to Central Australia back in 2022. Point was it was terrible.

My birthday is in January so for an early birthday present he let me get the Pixel 9. Oh wow, I’m in love with the camera on it.

My previous phone still worked fine, but I have always hated the camera on it. It just wasn’t very good. Thankfully I was able to trade it in for the new one, so I managed to get something for it which was nice.

I am excited to really explore the world with this phone. I have a hike coming up and didn’t know if I should take the normal camera or infrared, I think I will take the latter and my phone. That could be a lot of fun.

So below are some photos from the new phone. As you can see a couple of my dahlias have started flowering and more aren’t far off. It is a great time of the year in the garden. These were taken just after the rain we had the other day.

Before I go, I did some photos comparing the cameras in both and if you are interested in seeing some of those let me know. Might help explain why I didn’t like the camera in the Samsung phone. There really is a difference between them, especially if you zoom in.
