Earlier this week a parcel arrived and in it was a new lens that Lensbaby have loaned to me, the Velvet 85. It is part of the Velvet series. I’ve been using the Velvet 56 for over a year now, so when they asked me if I would like to try it and review it, I jumped at the chance. I love the Velvet 56 and have loved using it for macro photography, so I was curious to see what the 85 would be like.

Floral Friday

It has been a couple of weeks since I did one of these. It is nice to get back into it and I loved finding so many flowers in my garden when I got home. I haven’t had a chance to get out to them to take photos, but will soon.

A while back I was telling you how I discovered someone had started an Instagram account with my email address. I changed the password and didn’t know what to do with it.

First I put up some of my old artwork, and then it just sat. About a month ago I thought I could use it for all my macro work. I can put some macro images on my main Instagram account, but not too many, so I thought, I could use this other one for that.

I have been using it for over a month now and I am loving it, so I thought it was time I introduced it to you.

So, if you like my macro work, I’m sure you will love this Instagram page. Here are some photos that I have had up recently. Some of the photos were taken with my macro lens and others with the Lensbaby Velvet 56. I hope you like them.
