It is getting bad here as I am doing my floral Friday post on a Saturday. I’m getting so involved in my house and kitchen so much that I’m not finding a lot of time for my blog.
It isn’t that I don’t like blogging, but since I have cleaned out my kitchen I am loving baking all over again. Sad but true. Though I also want to get a lot better at food photography and the next step is to start planning what I will bake so I can photograph it. Of course, it isn’t as simple as that I also have to work out how I will photograph it. So much planning. It isn’t something I think I am very good at.
My garden
I did, however, go out into the garden yesterday morning and take some photos. We have been getting quite a bit of rain so the flowers are wet. The whole garden is wet. That is nice but also makes it hard to get to some. Then, of course, some end up quite waterlogged.
Here are some of the ones I found. Most you have seen before. I’m slowly weeding my way around everything. I can only get rid of so many weeds each week, so that makes the task a bit slower as well. Over time it will get done and then I can start adding more flowers as well.
Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show
On another note, I found out the other day that I have accreditation for the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show this year. I’m excited to be going again. I’ve been talking to Fujifilm and will be borrowing some macro lenses to try out at the show. That should be good too. I will do quite a few posts around that time, but it doesn’t start until the 25th of March, so still plenty of time to plan. There is that word again.
Flowers are the most beautiful gifts a person can give.
They are.
Flowers are the most beautiful creation of the Creator, which makes the earth more beautiful.
Lovely way to look at it, thank you.
Wow, great done. This is difficult to find out time after involved house and kitchen.
Thank you Lee, it is, but I am loving it.
Good reminder about the flower show – we will still be in Melbourne so might be able to go!
We should organise to go together. That would be nice.
