Floral Friday – Photographing one flower with different compositions

I’ve shown this flower a bit recently, I think it is called Chincherinchee and is grown with a bulb. I like how they grow and remind me of another flower I have.

I thought for this post I might try taking a lot of photos of the flowers and see how I could show the different compositions. They are not all from the same plant.

Short post today. I hope everyone in Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Kentucky, plus any other areas I haven’t mentioned are doing okay. It is so heartbreaking watching what is happening. Sadly unless we start doing something about climate change this will continue. I don’t want to argue with anyone about this, I believe all the scientists and don’t understand why people have stopped doing that. Good thoughts.

    1. I had no idea about the smell, so I just had to walk outside to see. They do have a scent, but I don’t think it is like you describe, perhaps they have changed them somehow. I don’t know. Thank you Sofia.

  1. White flowers are my favorite, and every one of these is beautiful.
How did your brother-in-law make out with the hurricane, Leanne? I know it was not as bad as they originally thought, but that is small condolence to those who flooded or have no power.

    1. They can be so stunning, the white ones. Thank you Lois.
I have heard from him, they left Florida as soon as they knew Milton was coming and went back to their other home in NC. It didn’t get any damage from Helene. So they are all good. I agree, about Milton, still devastating for so many.

  2. This is a beautiful flower, and you photographed it beautifully. I remember during the first few weeks of lockdown in 2020, the skies were so clear and beautiful. That was our learning opportunity and we missed it.
