I thought I might try doing some photos this week using one of the presets I’ve made in ON1 Photo Raw 2025. I don’t think it is lazy, but I like seeing what you end up with, and I think every time I play with them, I learn something new.
What I have learned with these is that when you do infrared photos, there is sometimes some colour still in the images, weird colour, but it is still there. I thought I could just add a black and white effect and then add a preset, but it didn’t quite work. I think I might have to play around a lot more with that.
I like how these have come out. I don’t know that I would print them and frame them, but I do like the effect. They have an antique feel to them, if that makes sense. I don’t mind it.
I am going to leave it there for this post, I need to get back to working out what else I can do. Take care.
Interesting.

Thank you Pamela. Yeah, time zones can do that, I think people forget we are ahead of nearly everyone, well except New Zealand.
Beautiful photos, Leanne. I love this effect.
Thank you Lynette.
They do have an antique feel and look nice and soft. What I’m missing is contrast.
I tried adding more, but it didn’t have a good effect.
I like these. They look almost copper-like in their coloring. Very pretty, Leanne.
Thank you Lois, I wasn’t sure about the colour, but thought it would be interesting to show them.
