Lens-Artists Challenge #330 – Favourite images of 2024

I almost laughed out loud when I saw what the challenge was this week, I feel like I’ve been doing this for a a week or so already.

So to find photos I tried to show ones that I haven’t shown before.

It has was an interesting year. I didn’t do anywhere near as many outings as I usually do, but I did taken photos every week. Nearly all of them were from my garden.

I had one big trip to Tasmania in May which was great. I also played around with AI to see what you could do with it. Then I found out my infrared camera didn’t work anymore and got a new one which I’ve been having lots of fun with as well. I think one thing I have loved the most is macro photography with the infrared camera. Something else I really want to explore more in the following year.

So many plans I hope you will join me to see what I get up to.

There is no single host for this one, so I guess I want to thank the whole Lens-Artists mob for this and also for the challenges each week. I’ve really enjoyed it over the last year.

If you would like to participate in this great challenge then go to the following link to find out how to join the Lens-Artists Challenge, click here for more info. Don’t forget to put a link in your post back to the host.

  1. As usual, a great set! Love your infrared, the cats and the buildings very much. Is the old house by the railsway a photo or an AI? So much Thunder and lightning! The roses and flowers are stunning of course – love frangipani, but it is unfortunately not possible to grow it here.
Looking forward to following your further experiments!

    1. Thank you so much Ann-Christine. The photo you are referring to is AI. I had to include one. I was surprised I could grow them here, though the plant lives in my greenhouse.

  2. Wow, wow, wow… Stunning gallery, Leanne! And thanks for your kind words about L-A. All the best in 2025.

  3. As always, a beautiful set of images Leanne. Love that you’re continuing to experiment and to create amazing images no matter your tools or formats!

    1. Thank you John, funny story about the cats. They are actually my daughters, but they live with us all the time now, so I guess they are ours now. Ralph and Susie.

  4. I enjoyed looking at your IR photography. A friend of mine also has an IR camera and he is always sharing new examples of his work.
My favorites, though, are the lighthouse in Tasmania and the orange boats. Nice gallery, Leanne!

    1. Thank you John, the IR camera is great and I’m enjoying exploring more with it. Both great images, glad you like them.
