Eureka Tower used to be the tallest building in Melbourne, though really it is in Southbank. However, when they built Australia 108, the Eureka Tower was demoted to the 2nd tallest. I did a post on that Australia 108 a few weeks ago. I showed you photos of looking up the side of it, and I thought it might be nice to do the same with the Eureka Tower.
Most of us spend more time looking down from it as it has an observation deck, but I thought, let’s do the opposite here.
One of the things you do notice when you look up is all the bees. They are ornamental, but there is a lot of them. I was really surprised to see them everywhere around that area and not just on that building.
Here is Eureka Tower.
I decided to do a little series on this, so for Silent Sunday tomorrow, I have tried to find as many photos as I could that have the tower in them. Then on Tuesday, I have done a post on the views you get from the Skydeck there. They are quite spectacular. You have to wait until Tuesday for that one.
