Oi Oi Oi – Christmas Down Under

I found some funny Christmas songs that I couldn’t resist sharing with you. I showed them to Tim and he thought I should share them with you. They are very Australian and really show the funny side of Christmas here.

I hope you can understand them and like them.

  1. Love these and absolutely have them on CD that came with an Aussie Christmas storybook. My kids find it so funny, even now they are almost all grown.

  2. Although Christmas Day has happened…..the Christmas period is still valid. 😊 So it’s nice and timely to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Wales, UK has had lots of snow this time. But, as Wales is famous for it…..it is currently raining heavily. The Green, Green Grass of Home, as Tom Jones sang, is therefore still on next year’s cards! All the best.

    1. Thank you, and the same to you, I hope you had a good Christmas. Snow is so fascinating, we are now getting lots of heat, seems summer has finally arrived and hit us hard. Wales is a country that I always thought seemed so beautiful.

  3. These songs are golden, one of the many reasons I love Australia.
Brings up the memories from spending Christmas in Darwin 1990, staying in the pool the whole day…

  4. Aussie Aussie Aussie. It sure is getting warm now isn’t Leanne. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

    1. haha, it really is, too hot. Not sure about tomorrow, but we have good air con, so we will be fine as long as we don’t go out side. We had a lovely Christmas, I hope you did too.

    2. Christmas is the festival of joy and happiness…….yummy plum cake , Christmas tree decoration, variety of eatables and much more ………In India it’s too cold here

  5. These are wonderful. I have to admit, it might not be bad putting some prawns on the barbeque in shorts while downing an ice cold Fosters. πŸ™‚ πŸ»πŸŽ„

    1. We did have a barbie for lunch, but ate inside, it is too hot outside to sit out there and eat as well. Nicer inside with the air conditioner on.

  6. The videos are so fun, Leanne! Not something like we have. ❀️ Wishing you and yours a wonderful Christmas and blessed new year. β€οΈπŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί
