This is going to be my last month this year for this challenge. I’m going to take November and December off and probably January as well. I’m still undecided whether to continue doing it, and I have to work out what I want to do. It is a challenge that hasn’t quite worked out how I had hoped. I guess that is always a problem with new challenges that you hope others will join in, but there just isn’t the interest there.
So, just in case someone wants to do the challenge and wants to know what to do, click this link for more information, and don’t forget to check out Joanne’s post, click here.
I’m probably going to go the easy way this month and do something that is kinda lazy, but hey, sometimes that works.
Here is the original image.
This is the straight out of the camera image with no processing. So I’m sure you can guess what I did for the first week.
Yep, I processed it. I am once again using ON1 Photo Raw 2025 for the challenge this month. It is fast becoming my go-to program for processing my photos. I’m looking forward to seeing ON1 Photo Raw 2026 when it comes out this month. I like how it gets better and better all the time.
So let’s see the image after it was given some basic processing.
I think all that has happened here is that the processing has brightened the image up a little. Interesting how you don’t have to do a lot at times.
I thought I would do a before and after for you.
I am also going to do what I usually do and start a gallery with the first two images, which I will add to for the next 5 weeks. Yes, there are 5 Thursdays this month. This seems to have happened so many times this year.

very beautifull pic 👌
Thank you.
The before and after slider is great for this. You can really see the difference. Although I have not participated, I found interesting to follow the process. I certainly wouldn’t mind seeing more.
Thank you Geoff, glad it was useful. I think you can see by the lack of comments, that not many people are interested. So at this stage I don’t know that I will be back with it.
beautiful blossoms
Thank you Beth.
