One Image 4 Ways – Repeating aone of the original challenges Week 1

As I said last week for this challenge I’m going to show one that I did back in 2014 when my friend Robyn first started this challenge and called it One Four Challenge. I wonder if I should change it to that now. Let me know.

I am going to just basically repost the posts, but first let’s take a look at the original image.

Now let’s look at the post.

Robyn’s One Four challenge is starting again for the month of December.  I was going to see if I could find a Christmas image, but I couldn’t find anything that I thought I wanted to process several times.  In the end for the One Four Challenge for December Week 1 I thought I would use an image I did last week.  It was an image that I already showed, but I like the challenge of trying to do different things to it each week.

I made it black and white the first time, and I have some further ideas, the challenge will be if I can come up with another 3 different processes. Last month I did really well until it got to the last week, and then I really struggled to come up with something for the final week.

With this image I had wanted to show the isolation and some how the heat of the day. I liked how the black and white treatment emphasises the tree.

I will put up a gallery showing the original and this one as well. Each week I  Don’t forget to go and check Robyn’s image and look for the pingbacks for the images that others have done as well.

Okay, so now you can’t go to Robyn’s blog as it doesn’t exist anymore. It is so sad to see so many of my old friends no longer blogging and their blogs are turned off. I hope Robyn is doing well and still taking photos.

So as with the last couple of months I will include a gallery and you can see the original and the processed image. Each week the gallery will grow.
