Today I thought we might look at processing a macro flower, especially after showing all the ones yesterday.
I decided to do it with ON1 Photo Raw 2023, but I am still learning to use it. I find every time I use it I learn more.
One of my peonies has finally started flowering so I went out this afternoon and took some images with the macro lens.
I thought it might be fun to see what I could do with it in ON1, so I have done a video of it for you.
You can view it here or if you want to see a larger view click on the YouTube wording on the video and it will take you there. Don’t forget to like or subscribe. It is a small thing you can do for me and it really helps my channel.
You can see the final image in the header of this post.
Please, if there is something you would like me to cover, then I would love to hear from you.
I might try doing another one of these at another time. I love working on macro photos.
To get your own copy of ON1 Photo Raw 2023 please check out this page.
If you enjoy what I do here and would like to buy me a coffee or contribute to my coffee fund, then please donate there. You are under no obligation to do it though, only if you want to.
Beautiful but, isn’t this more of a close-up than a 1:1 macro?
Who knows, does it really matter, I used my macro lens, I got that image. I’m never that interested in the semantics of things or technical stuff. This definitely isn’t the right blog for that.
I agree. Potato- potahto. It’s just semantics. I love On1 btw. Been using its various iterations since it first came out.
That’s great to hear, I’ve used it from time to time over the years. Thank you.
The flower looks as though it is lit up from within. Beautiful 🙂
I like that description, I do, thank you.
