It is Wednesday night and I usually have Monochrome Madness done by now, but I’ve just got home and I still have to work on my image. I hope you will forgive me, but it is going to be late this week. I will do it first thing in the morning, so hopefully not too late.
Here is a photo for you to ponder on while you wait. I took this last night up in the Pink Lakes.
What a beautiful image… I love these starry-sky pictures. They’re so difficult to capture in a big city, so I don’t often get a chance to try them. And don’t worry about being late – life can be pretty hectic sometimes for all of us, so take yourself off the hook. You’re doing great, Leanne!
thank you Reggie, I love them too, they can be so amazing. Yes, there is far too much light pollution in the city. Thanks for understanding.
That sure is a wow Leanne ..π
Thank you Julie
I can only say WOW !!
That says plenty Cornelia.
Breathtaking!
Thank you Sheila.
Leanne, you are hard to keep up with. I love the variety of images and subjects you post. This one is a stunner!
Thank you Don, good to know, I do like to try my hand at different things, I think it helps with teaching as well, the more I know the more I can teach, I suppose.
Beautiful Shot. Not much star trail, what was the exposure time and is that a Nikkor 14-28mm?
Thank you, there isn’t meant to be any star trail, I was just trying to get the milky way, I think it was around 30 seconds, I was using the 14-24mm lens.
Absolutely stunning!
Thank you.
I love this image!
That’s great Cybele, thank you.
We all get behind at times. So smile and keep going. π
Will do Lee, thank you.
Very nice indeed Leanne. It’s so nice when it all comes together! π
Thank you Adrian, it is good when it does. π
