I don’t know if anyone else in the world calls the Christmas season the silly season, but we do here. It is a crazy time of the year.
I’ve been posting lots of photos of previous Christmases, but recently I did head into the city to see what was there. I have to say I was really disappointed. The City of Melbourne used to do a great job, but it is like they don’t care anymore. There wasn’t much around at all, well not compared to the past. I don’t know what they do with all their past decorations, but they could put them out.
I thought that since there was no Lens-Artists Challenge this week, I might show you the few photos I got from the city.
I had also hoped to do the light show at the Town Hall, but they cancelled it because of what happened at Bondi Beach. I was also disappointed about that too. I won’t be going back in, and I don’t think I would bother going back in future years either. Not worth the time, really.
I hope you like what I got to see, and I hope where you are, they have put on a much better show.
