I finally got back there recently and all I wanted to do was use my infrared camera. I think display gardens are great for infrared photos. All the plants just waiting to see what the infrared sensor will do to them.
I haven’t been to Alowyn Gardens for almost 3 years, and I don’t know why, I just didn’t get there. I have plans to go back over the next couple of months as spring hits us. Lots of things to look forward to, and I was told what to expect in the next few months, so I will have to go back.
Sadly, there were almost no flowers the day we went. The gardens have been refreshed, and it looks like it will be a good spring, but I couldn’t photograph what I normally do, so I went for photographing the gardens more widely rather than the zoomed in view I usually do.
I took so many infrared photos and way too many for one post, so I decided to find a theme for this post. Alowyn Gardens has a fountain in the middle of it, and all paths seem to lead to it, so I took as many photos of the fountain as I could from different places around the gardens.
I have a collection of those images for you now.
Wonderful, moody b&w photos!
Thank you Marilyn.
