It is time for my Floral Friday post and today I was keen to work on a photo of a tulip that the light was hitting it in an unusual way. I tend to hate dappled light, but here it was perfect.
Yesterday I ran a macro photography class at Alowyn Gardens. Seems I can’t get away from teaching and I’m planning on doing more.
During the week I had a quick trip to Alowyn Gardens. I was there to talk about doing some workshops, but I also spent some time in the gardens and thought it would be a good post for Weekend Wanderings.
Today I was at Alowyn Gardens to talk about some macro photography classes. While there I spent some time playing around the fisheye lens from Struman Optics on my phone.
These are being posted too late, so starting from this week, I’m going to try and do it on Friday. I will have to make sure the podcast is done sooner. For photo challenge 8 we are doing flowers.
It is Friday again and what a week it has been. My head is still reeling from what has been happening. I thought, along with Floral Friday that we might also look at some of the results from the polls last week.
Here is one from a while ago. While taking photos of poppies I couldn’t resist trying to get the bee as well.
A couple of weeks ago I was at Alowyn Gardens taking photos of the flowers before and after the rain. Water drops on flowers are fantastic, they really bring out the colours of the flowers.
The title sort of says it all. Watching the bees playing around in the poppies was great fun. They roll around in them, if you have never see it, take at look at the poppies next time.
Unfortunately I have no idea what these are, I want to say snow drops, but I am probably wrong.
