Part of the reason I wanted flowers in my garden was so I could use flowers in it for Floral Friday so today it was back into it. These were taken with the Struman Optics macro lens.
Floral Friday – Back to the garden
This morning I headed back out to the garden. Each week more things start flowering, which I love. It is at these times that I want my garden to look good. Sadly it doesn’t. I really need to get out there and do some work. It is such a big job.
Spiders
So while I was out there I found a couple of small spiders. I don’t like spiders. So I was surprised to find myself photographing them. They were just as scared as me it turned out. I noticed they were trying to hide from me. Of course, I tried to photograph them, but you can’t see very much.
It was surprising how the lens for the phone coped with it. I think it did a great job.
Sunlight
Normally, I would have to say I don’t really like getting the effects of the direct sun in images. However, with this image, I thought it really worked. When I took it, I thought, oh no, but then on closer inspection I really liked it. What do you think?
My Garden
So, I’ve been thinking, well I just thought of this morning, and I wondered if I could do Floral Friday each week from my garden. Make it a thing. It might help me get my garden up to shape as well. I do love macro, so why not. What do you guys think? Would you get bored with it?
Let me know, and that’s it for me today. Get out and smell the flowers, better yet, take some photos of them.

I love the one with the sunburst. to be truthful, most of my photos are from my yard. Some are better than others but I can usually find something worth taking a picture of.
