Yeah, I’m tired. It has been a very busy week and I need some sleep. Part of that is good because I have been getting out and taking photos again which I am loving. It is also partly because I’ve been trying to get some things done in the garden.
Ivanhoe Library and Cultural Hub
Last week for my YouTube video I went to the Ivanhoe Library. It is a new one.
The old one was torn down and then this new one was built in its place. It is an interesting building and when I was trying to decide what to do my last video on I chose that.
I went to check it out, but the timing wasn’t great. Or rather the lighting wasn’t really what I hoped for. The image at the top is one of the images I took on the trip.
I’m trying to do more with the videos, talking about where I am going and why. What I want to photograph and why. It doesn’t always work out, but I’m trying to get better at it.
If you want to see that video go to Getting back to some architecture.
You can also subscribe to the channel there as well. I have changed the name, again, so that you can see it is more about photography.
The gardening videos
I didn’t like the way the last video showed on the blog, so I have started a new channel for it. It is more than likely I won’t do a lot on there, but it is more for me to do some videos to keep you updated with the work I am doing.
The video here is the same one, but I have started working on the next one. So hopefully there will be a new one posted in the next week or two.
New Watering System
One thing there will be more of soon is the new watering system that my husband is doing for the garden. It is going to be amazing if he can get it working. There will be sensors and auto watering devices that will decide how much water the garden will need, and I have to say I can’t wait.
It will be nice in summer not having to get up so early to do the watering, that it will be taken care of.
There will be more on that to come.
This post is a bit of a nothing post, and I want to start posting more and telling you more. I guess I have sort of got out of the habit. It is my hope that I can start doing two a week at least, maybe three.
There will still be more on photos and the garden, but I might separate them more. We will see. I just hope you will enjoy the ride.
