Today is a quick post and I am just going to show you the terminal building that you can find on Princes Pier as you make your way to the end.
Yesterday when I went to Princes Pier in Port Melbourne I also tried taking a few photos of the terminal building that is there. It is an interesting building. It is easy to see how it was used if you go to Station Pier, which is right next door. There is a building there that looks almost identical, perhaps more used. This one is really more for show.
It was left in rather a state until they did the refurbishment of the pier which finished in 2011.
This is a long exposure that I took while there. I was using the Fujifilm X-T3 and the XF10-24mm along with the Formatt Hitech Firecrest Ultra 13 stop ND filter. I was also using Winston, my 3 Legged Thing tripod. Everything was carried around in my new MindShift camera bag.

I found the following video which shows you what they did to the pier. It is really interesting and you can see what the above building had looked like. It is incredible to see how they did it.
Good gosh, Leanne–what an undertaking!
It was, so glad they did it, would have been really easy for them to just pull it all down.
Thanks. I never knew that.
You’re welcome Sara.
