A trip to Woomelang and recording it in time lapse
I’m back. Actually I got back a couple of days ago, but I’ve been working heaps to get through the 4000 photos I took over 3 days. So over those days I did 15 time […]

In my post last Friday I said I had been out to do some time-lapse photography while I was sick. It wasn’t a good move, but it was good to get a chance to try […]
Today I have a photo from Lake Learmonth that I took a couple of months ago. I went there a couple of years ago and the lake was basically empty, but with all the rain […]
I’ve been out in the city doing some time-lapse videos. It is quite a process and takes quite a bit of time, but I do think they are so much better than the ones I’ve […]
Hey everyone, how are you all? I’ve been out in the garden again this week. Taking advantage of the rain free days. It is nice to be out there again. Today I started some seedlings […]
Since I went away I haven’t worked on many of the images that I took those few days, but it is time to start. Today’s Monochrome Madness image was taken on the second day we […]
This last weekend I was able to get out and take some photos. I don’t seem to do it as much as I used to. Still, I do love it when I can. I have […]
Recently I told you that I was trying out the Tamron lens for my Fujifilm cameras. I did try the 150-500mm, but now I am looking at the 17-70mm F/2.8 Di III-A2 VC RXD from them as well. […]
It has been a very long time since I was in the city, but today I finally went back in. I think the last time I went into the CBD of Melbourne was before the […]
When Suzzanna and I were planning our trip to Central Australia one thing we both thought was that we would do sunrise and sunset every day we were there. We did that. The images in […]
One of the things we wanted to do while at Yulara and Uluru was try to do sunrise and sunset each day. We knew it would be tiring, but we really thought it would be […]
It may not come as a surprise to many of you, but I have really been struggling with my photography. I think the biggest problem I’ve had is that I don’t want to go out […]
I was up very early again this morning as I made my way back into the city for the Melbourne Flower Show.
Yeah, it was my birthday last week and since both my daughters were unable to be with me my youngest organised to have some flowers sent to me. She said it was so I could […]
Recently I was loaned the Tamron 18mm to 300mm lens for the Fujifilm camera. I was so excited because it is the first lens that Tamron has done for the mirrorless Fujifilm cameras.
Do you know what one of the biggest problems with doing food photography?
How many times have you gone somewhere to take photos and then realised that it was the wrong time of the day, or the wrong season, or the wrong something?
It is an interesting concept and one that I spoke about in my last post. When you are in lockdown trying to work out what to do can be hard.
Yes, I think I will keep doing Monochrome Madness and today I have a still lily for you. I took it the other day while I still had the macro lens from Fujifilm.
I’ve been trying to do more still life photography and I thought it would be good to show you a couple I’ve been experimenting with for Monochrome Madness.
