Monochrome Madness – Stormy waters along the Great Ocean Road

Our first free Monochrome Madness for the year. I enjoy these just as much as themes.

One thing I like is that I can do whatever I like. I have often used monochrome images that I have used before, but for this week I wanted to do some new ones. I don’t necessarily go out as much as I used to for photos, since COVID-19 I have become more of a homebody.

Then I realised I have thousands of photos from so many prior trips. It is time to start looking back at them and finding ones to work on. So today, I have some photos from 2018. They are all taken along the Great Ocean Road.

Taken from a calm morning to a stormy afternoon. I love watching the ocean when it is wild and the waves are so aggressive. They are amazing then. I decided to try the following images in monochrome to see how they would come out. I am pretty happy with them.

Next week is Monochrome Madness #26 and since no one has put their hand up for it, I guess it is me again. I have decided that the theme is THE LETTER T.

Everything in your photo/s must start with the letter T. I love ones like this, I’m always surprised.

    1. Thank you Jean, I will have to get my thinking hat on and see what I come up with. I might even do some new ones for it.

  1. Leanne–it made me smile to read how you like to see the ocean when it is wild. Before a hurricane, the Gulf gets really wild down here, and so many of us flock to the downtown pier or to the beach to see that wildness up close. Dangerous, but so fantastic!

    1. I would love to see that, must be incredible. I’ve watched videos, but not quite the same as seeing it. I agree about the dangerous but so fantastic. Nature can be so amazing. Thank you Lois.
