For day 10 in our New Zealand Wanderings we are somewhere on the East Coast. We left Invercargill and have ended up somewhere near Balclutha.
New Zealand Wanderings Day 10 – East Coast
It has been a funny day. This morning I woke up to find my blog post from yesterday had disappeared and was only in draft form. The first thing was to fix that, then work more on getting Bluetooth working on this computer.
So I got it working and then we left Invercargill. We went to the Waipapa Lighthouse which was really good. The lighthouse was very different to what we have in Australia. I liked that. I spent a bit of time there doing some long exposures.
We then went to a petrified forest and onto a waterfall. However, it is getting late and I have spent my time working on a photo from the lighthouse.
They are rather small, but up on a cliff, it doesn’t really matter.
Gear
The image was taken with the Fujifilm X-T3 and XF10-24mm lens. I was using the 3 Legged Thing tripod, the Billy one. I had my Formatt Hitech filters on. The Peak Design Travel Backpack was used to carry everything.
At home, the image was processed with the Wacom MobileStudio Pro 13.
Problems
When I got our accommodation for the night and turned on the computer there was no Bluetooth again. It has been very frustrating. In the end, I found a video that seemed to fix it. I bookmarked it so I hope if it happens again I can fix it.
Tomorrow
We are off to Dunedin in the morning. Not sure what we will be photographing. This next part is all a surprise for me and I will get what I get.
Stunning photograph. I love the way the lighthouse glows against that inky background.
Thank you Laura, it does sort of stand out on it’s own which is really good.
Nice image! Image pops! Nice technique 🙂
Thank you Jack.
